Location: Douglas Campus - Douglasville, GA
Department: Adult Education
Reports to: Vice President of Adult Education, Carroll Campus
FLSA Designation: Part-time, non-exempt
Nature of Duties: Provides instruction in academic areas (Reading, Writing, English, Mathematics). Instruction is according to the individual needs of each participant as measured by pre-testing. For those students who demonstrate readiness for GED preparation, instruction includes writing skills/essay, social studies, and science, in addition to appropriate levels of math, reading/literature.
Minimum Qualifications: A four year degree from an accredited college or university.
As a bona fide occupational qualification to service male inmates, this position must be filled by a male.
Preferred Qualifications: : Preference may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience.
Salary/Benefits: $16.00/Hour, 5 Hrs/week - no benefits, Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00-10:00 pm
