Department:  Adult Education

Reports to: Director, Adult Education

FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

Nature of Duties: Provides instruction in the academic areas (Reading, Writing, English, Mathematics). Instruction is according to the individual needs of each participant as measured by pre-testing. For those students who demonstrate readiness for GED preparation, instruction includes writing skills/essay, social studies, and science, in addition to appropriate levels of math, reading/literature.

Minimum Qualifications: A four year degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience.  

Salary, Hours, Benefits: $16.00/hr.16hrs/wk: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. No benefits.
