Adjunct Instructor – Practical Nursing

Location:  Coweta Campus – Newnan, GA

Department: Health Services

Reports to: Instructional Manager/Program Director

FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

Nature of Duties: Responsibilities include teaching clinical and didactic courses to students in the Practical Nursing Program using an established plan of instruction.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution and must hold a current Georgia RN license. Minimum of three years clinical experience as a registered nurse within the past seven years.

Preferred Qualifications: (In addition to the minimum qualifications) Preference may be given to applicants with prior teaching experience. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are a must.

Salary/Benefits: Compensation to be determined. No Benefits.

Hours: 24 hrs./wk.
