West Central Technical College is proud to welcome country music superstar Sara Evans to our Seventh Annual Black Tie & Boots benefit Saturday, August 9, 2008.

Black Tie & Boots is held at the Murphy Campus Conference Center, 176 Murphy Campus Blvd., Waco, Georgia 30182.

WCTC RN Students Attend Convention

Two Registered Nursing students and an instructor represented West Central Technical College at the National Student Nurses’ Association annual convention this spring.

RN Instructor Japonica Morris accompanied students Shawn Green and Rebekah Yontz to Grapevine, Texas March 27-30, joining over 3,000 participants from around the country.

JTS Donates Truck to West Central Tech

Ronnie Jordan of Jordan Truck Sales in Carrollton continued his support of West Central Technical College and its Commercial Truck Driving program this spring donating a single-axle Ford Aeromax truck. Within the last year, Jordan also has donated a refrigerated trailer to the program. “Ronnie has proven to be a very supportive partner with us,” President Dr. Skip Sullivan said. Bradley Wins Again

For the second year in a row, Carla Bradley, an Academic Affairs Secretary on the Carroll Campus, has been named Administrative Professional of the Year. President Dr. Skip Sullivan announced the award Wednesday, April 23 during the Administrative Professionals Luncheon on the Murphy Campus.

Haralson Co. Plant Named Georgia Manufacturer of the Year

Honda Precision Parts of Georgia, LLC, has been named Georgia Manufacturer of the Year in the Medium Manufacturer category after being nominated by West Central Technical College, the Haralson Co. Chamber of Commerce and the Haralson Co. Development Authority.
