Provide Student Scholarships
Endowed Scholarships
Donors can provide much needed scholarship support through the establishment of endowments. Each endowed scholarship bears the name designated by the donor. Endowment funds are invested and managed, with interest and dividends used to perpetually fund the scholarship or program requested by the donor.
An endowment of a minimum of $10,000 is required, but larger endowments can assure assistance to more students. For more information, contact the Foundation by phone at (770-537-6010) or by email at dcook@westcentraltech.edu.
Commemorative/Memorial Scholarships
By creating a commemorative or memorial scholarship, you honor past achievements while paving the way for a new generation's accomplishments. Many donors honor a loved one through the creation of a memorial scholarship into which family and friends may contribute. These pooled assets provide WCTC Foundation, Inc. scholarships based on financial need. For more information, contact the Foundation by phone at (770) 537-6010 or by email at dcook@westcentraltech.edu.
Special Grants
Special Grants for S.A.F.E. (Student Assistance Fund for Emergencies) may be established with a $2,000 minimum commitment. At the donor's discretion, the grants can provide textbook awards, transportation grants, childcare assistance or other special needs not usually covered by existing financial aid programs. For more information, contact the Foundation by phone at (770) 537-6010 or by email at dcook@westcentraltech.edu.
