General Information

The Student Activities Council (SAC) serves as the Student Government Association and the Campus Activities Board for West Central Technical College. The Student Activities Council is free to join; and upon your second meeting, you are eligible to vote on business matters as long as you are enrolled in classes.

Beyond aiding in allocation of student activates funds, SAC serves in a school enhancing capacity, community involvement capacity, a forum to meet new students, a place to develop leadership skills and much more. SAC participates in many school-wide events ranging from participating in Campus Community Open House, collecting canned goods for school-wide service learning projects, giving out student planners and t-shirts at Weeks of Welcome Activities, performing at West Central Technical College's Idol Contest to cooking six hundred hamburgers for fellow students. Sac also aids in the Red Cross Blood Drives on campus. Members of the Student Activities Council also get to participate in off-site leadership conferences and workshops.

Please e-mail Student Activities Coordinator, Linsey Koda at ldixon@westcentraltech.edu if you are interested in joining.
