Professional Development & Continuing Education

The Continuing Education Department at West Central Technical College offers short-term personal and professional development courses to the community in a variety of subjects for each or our four service areas in the West Georgia region.  By forming partnerships with schools, agencies, churches, and community centers, we are able to provide you with many resources and opportunities to enhance both your professional and personal life.
           
Courses through Continuing Education are designed for quick skills training, professional development, and personal enrichment. Although these courses will not lead to a college diploma or degree, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are credited for each class which provides you with a reference for improved skills and training that can have a positive impact on your career and personal life.

As we continue to provide lifelong learning opportunities to individuals within the communities we serve, we invite you to explore the many opportunities available for your professional development and personal enrichment needs.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer programs that help in the enhancement of the communities we serve and we are honored that we can be a part of the growth of the West Georgia area. Our course catalog and our website are filled with new classes and programs that are held at our Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, and Murphy (Haralson county) campuses. In addition, we offer a menu of online classes that can be completed at home or anywhere the internet can be accessed.
