The mission of West Central Technical College’s Adult Education Department is to provide a variety of quality learning experiences including reading, writing, computing, speaking, and listening skills, in order to achieve personal goals to compete successfully in today’s workplace, to strengthen family foundations, to positively influence the community, and to exercise full citizenship.
The goals of West Central Technical College’s Adult Education Department are to provide quality adult literacy services to Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, and Haralson counties and to continue to work with other agencies on collaborative projects concerning adult literacy.
New Student Orientation Classes
Orientation is offered in a series of 2 sessions (3 hrs) beginning on a Monday night at 5:15 pm or 1 sessions (6 hrs) on Thursdays at 8:30 am at CEC, 160 Martin-Luther King, Jr. Drive, Newnan.
